MUVICO ROLLS OUT THE RED CARPET FOR NEW MUVISTAR™ REWARDS
Fort Lauderdale, FL (August 31, 2012) – Muvico Theaters officially announces the launch of the MuviStar™ Rewards program – an exclusive rewards program tailored towards the guest.
How Muvico makes theatergoers feel like stars
With the launch of the MuviStar™ Rewards program, Muvico Theaters will roll out the red carpet in anticipation of the arrival of theater guests, who are the true movie stars. The MuviStar™ Rewards program was created with the guest in mind and goes straight to the real desires of movie lovers everywhere: free movie tickets.
By participating in the program with a registered MuviStar™ card, guests can earn free movie tickets through purchases at the box office and concession stand. Each movie ticket purchased at Muvico Theaters earns one point and concession stand purchases earn four points. After earning 30 points, participants will earn a free movie ticket valid for their next visit at Muvico Theaters. After reaching the 30 point threshold, patrons need only to earn an additional 15 points to earn another free movie ticket.
Considering that most movie goers treat themselves with popcorn and a drink, a single customer can enjoy one out of every four films free after the initial 30-point threshold. With the ability to earn free movie tickets, guests are able to enjoy more of the exclusive amenities found at Muvico.
In addition the MuviStar™ Rewards program allows for guests to collect and preserve their movie memories online. Each MuviStar™ member will have their own ‘Muvi Memories’ page within their account that populates a virtual poster, allowing the member to share and comment with friends about the film.
Obtaining Muvistar™ cards
Muvico will hand out Muvistar™ Rewards cards at all theater locations. Guests can register the cards online at MUVICO.com/MuviStar, where they are presented with the option of either creating an account, or logging in through Facebook. Once registered, the cards can be swiped at the theater box office and concession stand, and will automatically tally up the points earned towards free movie tickets.
